Privacy Policy
Effective 1 November 2026
This policy explains what personal data Quantumedge Technologies Ltd (“we”) collects through MarketsCoder, why, who we share it with, and your rights. We collect only what we need to run the Service, and we don't sell personal data.
1. What we collect
- Account: your email address and a one-way hash of your password (never the password itself), and preferences such as your display currency.
- Your work: the algorithms, code, parameters, backtests and results you create, and your conversations with the AI assistant, and the goals, reports and activity of the background agents you start.
- Connected accounts: the API keys of the broker and exchange accounts you connect, stored encrypted in a separate database, and the data we read with them: balances, positions, orders and trades.
- Trading activity: your deployments, their orders, logs and performance.
- Payments: your top-ups and usage charges, your crypto deposit addresses, and the transaction or invoice identifiers of your payments. Blockchain transactions are public by nature.
- Technical: IP addresses and request logs, which we use for security (such as limiting sign-in attempts) and to fix problems.
2. Why we use it
- to provide the Service you ask for: run backtests and deployments, show your portfolio, credit payments and charge use;
- to keep the Service and your account secure, and to prevent abuse and fraud;
- to answer you, and tell you about changes to the Service or these terms;
- to meet legal obligations, such as keeping financial records.
3. Who we share it with
Only the providers that run parts of the Service for us, under contracts that limit their use of it:
- Amazon Web Services: hosting, databases and storage, in the EU (Stockholm, Sweden).
- Cloudflare: sends our account emails (activation and password reset links, and notices about your account), so it receives your email address and those messages.
- Anthropic: the AI model behind the assistant receives your messages to it, the goals you give background agents, the project code they work on and their backtest results.
- Your broker or exchange: receives the orders your algorithms place, under your account with them.
- Blockchain networks (Tron, Bitcoin): process crypto payments; Bitcoin payments go through our own BTCPay Server.
We may also disclose data where the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of users and the Service.
4. Your browser
We use no advertising or analytics trackers and set no cookies. Your browser's local storage keeps your sign-in token and two display preferences (hiding portfolio balances, and the datasets view); signing out removes the token.
5. How long we keep it
We keep your data while your account is open. When you close it we delete your account data and connected-account keys, except records we must keep by law (such as payment records), which we keep for as long as the law requires. Backups are overwritten within 7 days.
6. Security
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, broker keys are encrypted separately and never shown again, and access to production systems is restricted. No system is perfectly secure; we'll tell you without undue delay if a breach affects your data.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, or object to or restrict how we use it. Write to info@marketscoder.com; we'll answer within 30 days. You can also complain to your data protection authority.
8. International transfers
Your data is processed in the EU and, for some providers (such as the AI model), in the United States, under safeguards the law requires.
9. Changes and contact
We'll post changes to this policy here and tell you of material ones. Questions or requests: info@marketscoder.com.
